Patient Experience Star Ratings and Comments
The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
Dr. Engelberg is a very good doctor.
I've had a rough go of it for the last year and a half when it comes to my quality of life. I have so many struggle busses: personal, professional, financial, wellbeing. I had really started to doubt myself and my lived experience, but since I last saw Dr. Engelberg [...] I've pursued a few assessments that have allowed me to finally make sense. It took almost 32 years for me to discover I'm Autistic and that I have ADHD. So many struggle busses preceded my late diagnoses. I'm finally able to make sense of myself, but I learned very quickly that I still don't make sense to others. [...] But Dr. Engelberg? She didn't deny my existence like so many others have. She sat with me in my new (albeit late diagnosed) existence and recognized its bigness. She was genuinely excited and happy for me. For my future. She saw the metamorphosis that I, too, feel is near. She's a freaking iconic superstar of a Physician, of a human.
Dr. Engelberg is an outstanding PCP !
