About Me
Dr. Rachel Wien is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai. She is a New York State licensed clinicial psychologist. She is a clinical psychologist in the Student Trainee Mental Health Program, and also sees private patients through her faculty practice. Dr. Wien provides integrated evidence-based treatment combining CBT, DBT, ACT, and psychodynamic approahces to best tailor treatment to the individual. Dr. Wien sees adolescents, adults, and couples in treatment. Dr. Wien received her bachelor's degree from Cornell University, and received her Psy.D. from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Albert Einstein. She has completed research at Bellevue Hospital in binge eating that has been presented at obesity conferences, and has been published. Dr. Wien has worked in inpatient and outpatient settings. She completed her APA-accredited internship at Friends Hospital in Philadelphia, PA; and her postdoctoral fellowship in private practice in Tarrytown, NY.
