Dr. Rama Bindu Manchikalapudi began practicing as a Cardiologist in 2014 and joined Mount Sinai in 2023. After graduating with her medical degree from Guntur Medical College in India, Dr. Manchikalapudi completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania. She then moved to Hackensack University Medical Center for a fellowship in Heart Failure & Pulmonary Hypertension before finishing her training with a second fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. In addition to her board certification in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Manchikalapudi is certified in Echocardiography, Nuclear Medicine, and advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation. Her clinical interests include general cardiology, heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and women's heart health.
In her professional community, Dr. Manchikalapudi is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Failure Society of America. Additionally, she is multilingual and can communicate with patients in English, Telugu, and Hindi.
