About Me
Dr. Raul Mendoza began practicing as a cardiologist in 1990 and joined Mount Sinai South Nassau in the same year. After completing his undergraduate studies at LaSalle University in Mexico, Dr. Mendoza earned his medical degree from National Autonomous University of Mexico. He then pursued his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at SUNY Healthcare Science Center before completing his training with a fellowship in Cardiology at the same institution. As a double board certified physician by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, Dr. Mendoza sees patients for all aspects of adult cardiology. Additionally, Dr. Mendoza is bilingual and can communicate with patients in English and Spanish.
Outside of his time with patients, Dr. Mendoza enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
