
Richard Salman, DDS
About Me
Dr. Richard Salman is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Salman received his Bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College and his D.D.S. degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Salman completed the General Practice Residency at the Bellevue Hospital Center/New York University Medical Center. Dr. Salman continued in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the Bellevue Hospital Center/New York University Medical Center, and served as the Chief Resident of the program. Following his residency, Dr. Salman taught at New York University College of Dentistry and attained the rank of Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Salman is on the staff of the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.

Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology companies, and other outside entities to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs.
