About Me
Rita "Caroline" Crooms, MD, MPH, is a board-certified neurologist, serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at Mount Sinai Health System. She has a interest in neuropalliative care (supportive care focused on improving quality of life for patients with serious neurologic illness, as an extra layer of support in addition to the care patients get from their other doctors).
Dr. Crooms received her BA from Swarthmore College, her medical degree from University of California, San Francisco, completed her neurology residency at University of California, San Francisco, and a fellowship in palliative medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Crooms is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and American Association of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Mandarin. Dr. Crooms offers telemedicine appointments when appropriate. Please call her office to schedule a video visit.
