About Me
Robbie Freeman, DNP, RN, is the Chief Digital Transformation Officer at Mount Sinai Health System, where he leads enterprise digital and AI transformation efforts. His work focuses on integrating digital products, artificial intelligence, and informatics into clinical operations to improve outcomes for patients, empower care teams, and enhance the day-to-day experience of employees across the health system.
Dr. Freeman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Human Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He holds a DNP from Yale University, where his scholarly work focused on using digital solutions to reduce health disparities and expand access to care. He also earned a Master’s degree from NYU’s Stern School of Business and is a proud graduate of the Mount Sinai Phillips School of Nursing, where he now serves on the Board of Trustees.

Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology companies, and other outside entities to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs. In order to promote an ethical and transparent environment for conducting research, providing clinical care and teaching, Mount Sinai requires that salaried faculty inform the School of their outside financial relationships.
