Dr. Roberts completed medical school at Loma Linda University in southern California. He then completed internship and residency in emergency medicine at the University of California Irvine. Dr. Roberts was initially Board Certified in Emergency Medicine in 2000 and was recertified 2010. Dr. Roberts worked from 1999-2007 at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center Santa Clara, California . Dr. Roberts was involved in clinical resident teaching with the affiliated Stanford emergency medicine program,. The next four years Dr. Roberts worked at the California Pacific Medical Center Davies campus in San Francisco with a focus on clinical care to Gay, lesbian and transgendered populations.
