About Me
Dr. Roy Cohen is a primary care physician and Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine. He is also the Director of the Mount Sinai Primary Care Institute, where he leads efforts to improve, expand and coordinate care across the Mount Sinai Health System.
Prior to joining Mount Sinai, he served as the Medical Director of the Division of Substance Abuse at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. Dr. Cohen received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his residency training in Primary Care in the Social Medicine Program followed by completion of an HIV Clinical Scholar’s Program at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.
He chairs meetings of the Primary Care Council and is a member of numerous professional medical councils and executive committees.
