About Me
Dr. Segna is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science.
Dr. Segna received his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Columbia University and his Medical Degree (M.D.) from New York University School of Medicine. After completing an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California, he went on to complete a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Segna has served as the Director of Gynecologic Oncology and the Colposcopy Service at the Naval Medical Center in Virginia. He was also the founder and director of the Women's Health Promotion and Primary Care Service at the Naval Medical Center in Virginia and has published multiple article and chapters in medical journals and textbooks. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in OB/GYN and Gynecologic Oncology and is an active member in numerous professional societies and organizations.
