About Me
Ryan Renacci, MD, MA, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, is the Medical Director of the Mount Sinai-Union Square Urgent Care and the Mount Sinai-Urgent Care, East 14th Street.
In this role, Dr. Renacci will oversee the implementation of medical and clinical policies, services, and procedures for urgent care services, ensuring high-quality care for the downtown community. Previously he served as Assistant Director of Clinical Operations for the Mount Sinai Morningside Emergency Department. He joined Mount Sinai in 2021, after completing emergency medicine residency at Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West, where he served as a chief resident.
Dr. Renacci has been actively involved in the Mount Sinai Virtual Urgent Care program and has prior experience working at various urgent care centers across the Mount Sinai Health System. He continues to provide clinical care in the Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West Emergency Departments.
Dr. Renacci earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Before medical school, he completed a Master’s degree in Medical Law and Ethics at King’s College London and the London School of Economics, where his dissertation examined the legal and ethical aspects of emergency healthcare systems in the U.S. and U.K. He completed his undergraduate studies in Science-Business and Pre-Medicine at the University of Notre Dame.
The state of Florida requires out-of-state professionals who are registered to provide telehealth services to display a hyperlink to the Florida Department of Health telehealth web page. This allows Florida patients who are receiving medical care by telehealth to confirm the provider’s licensure and Florida registration.
