About Me
Dr. Ryan Turner is a board-certified dermatologist and Assistant Clinical Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, who brings years of expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He is a consultant and scientific expert for skincare brands, where he advises on ingredient efficacy, product development, and clinical testing.
Dr. Turner graduated valedictorian and summa cum laude from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, graduating with honors and completing a prestigious Howard Hughes Medical Student Research Fellowship. He completed the Harvard Combined Dermatology Residency Program at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Following residency, Dr. Turner completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Procedural Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, receiving advanced training in cutaneous oncology, Mohs micrographic surgery, reconstructive surgery, cosmetic dermatology, and laser procedures. Over the course of his career, he has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, mentored residents, and served as faculty across major academic institutions, contributing to ongoing progress in clinical dermatology and patient care.
