Orthopedics and Orthopedic Surgery, Spine Surgery
About Me
Dr. Saad Chaudhary is a board-certified, fellowship-trained spine surgeon with nearly two decades of experience dedicated exclusively to the treatment of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine disorders. He specializes in both minimally invasive spine surgery and the most complex spinal reconstructive procedures, including revision spine surgery, utilizing the latest evidence-based technologies and advanced surgical techniques to optimize patient outcomes.
Dr. Chaudhary believes that the foundation of exceptional spine care is trust. He is recognized by both patients and referring physicians for his honest, thoughtful, and conservative approach to treatment, recommending surgery only when it offers the best opportunity to improve a patient's quality of life. He partners closely with each patient, emphasizing education, shared decision-making, and personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's goals, lifestyle, and medical needs. Whether treating traumatic injuries, degenerative conditions, disc herniations, spinal deformity, tumors, or infections, his focus is always on providing the least invasive and most effective treatment possible.
His commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care has earned him a nearly five-star Google rating from hundreds of patient reviews, reflecting the trust, communication, and surgical excellence that define his practice. Patients consistently value the time he spends listening, explaining complex conditions in understandable terms, and helping them make informed decisions with confidence.
Dr. Chaudhary earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine before completing his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Rutgers–New Jersey Medical School, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident. He then completed advanced fellowship training in spine surgery at the internationally renowned Cleveland Clinic, receiving comprehensive training in both orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine techniques.
An active leader in advancing the field of spine surgery, Dr. Chaudhary is deeply involved in several of the world's most prestigious spine organizations. He has held leadership and committee roles within the Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS) and is an active member of AO Spine, the North American Spine Society (NASS), the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), and the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (SMISS). Through these organizations, he helps shape education, research, and the future of spine care while remaining at the forefront of the latest surgical innovations and evidence-based practices.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Chaudhary has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications and textbook chapters in both orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine surgery. His research has been presented at national and international scientific meetings, and he is frequently invited to serve as faculty for educational courses, where he teaches advanced and minimally invasive spine surgical techniques to fellow spine surgeons.
