About Me
Sabina Lim, MD MPH is System Vice President, Behavioral Health Safety and Quality and System Medical Director, Regulatory and Government Affairs at the Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS); and Professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS). Dr. Lim graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Biology, received her M.D. from SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine, and her M.P.H. from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She completed her psychiatry residency training at Yale University Department of Psychiatry, and held various clinical and administrative positions at Yale, including Executive Director of Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital. She joined Mount Sinai Hospital in 2013 as Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs for the Department of Psychiatry, became System Chief of Clinical Operations of MSHS Behavioral Health clinical services in 2014, and was the Vice-President of the Behavioral Health clinical services from 2015 to 2020.
Dr. Lim has held numerous appointed leadership and advisory positions, including the Connecticut Behavioral Health Partnership Oversight Council, the American Psychiatric Association, and the New York State Value-Based Payment Advisory Councils. She is also currently an appointed member of the New York State Public Health and Health Planning Council, and of the New York State Behavioral Health Services Advisory Council. She has presented regionally and nationally on new behavioral health care delivery models, behavioral health integration, and the opioid epidemic. Dr. Lim has been awarded several awards and honors, including Distinguished Laughlin Fellow at the Yale University Department of Psychiatry, and the Healthcare Innovator Award by the Institute of Community Living for building innovative programs that foster integration and collaboration between academic medical centers and community organizations.

Industry Relationships
Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology companies, and other outside entities to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs.
