About Me

Dr. Sachal Badlani has practiced pulmonary medicine and primary care for over 35 years. After completing his medical education at Grant Medical College in India, Dr. Badlani moved to the US for his Internal Medicine residency at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center in The Bronx. He then went on to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center for his Pulmonary & Critical Care fellowship. With his board certifications in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine, Dr. Badlani specializes in preventative, pulmonary, and travel medicine.

In addition to his clinical role, Dr. Badlani acts as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at Mount Sinai's Icahn School of Medicine. Dr. Badlani also holds an active membership in both the American Association of Indian Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians.

Dr. Badlani often conducts talks for patients in his office on topics such as diabetes and hypertension management. He has also volunteered at blood pressure screenings at various community festivals in Queens, as well as with SHAREing & CAREing, a community-based support group for women living with breast and ovarian cancer. In his time outside of patient care and education, Dr. Badlani enjoys watching and playing tennis.
