Salvatore Cilmi, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine and an Infectious Disease specialist, as well as the Director of The Mount Sinai Hospital Residency Program. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease.
Dr. Cilmi has published numerous articles and/or chapters in peer-reviewed journals, reviews and books. He has developed and directed curricula for the residency program, and has led inpatient medicine rounds, sessions and Morning Report meetings and a multitude of conferences and lectures for the residents. He also initiated a new Journal Club. Dr. Cilmi is the recipient of numerous teaching awards and has been honored by his peers.
