SAM MCCONNELL

Sam McConnell is a PhD student in the laboratory of Dr. Erin Rich, where they are researching the neural mechanisms underlying reward expecation. Before joining the neuroscience graduate program at Mount Sinai, they completed a two-year postbaccalaureate research fellowship in Dr. George Koob's lab at the National Institute on Drug Abuse. They received their B.A. in biochemistry with a concentration in neuroscience from Grinnell College.
