About Me
Dr. Samantha Cohen has practiced Gynecologic Oncology for more than 10 years. After graduating with her doctorate degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Cohen completed her OB/GYN residency at The Icahn School of Medicine. She then remained at Mount Sinai for her fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology. With her board certification in Gynecologic Oncology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Cohen specializes in the treatment of gynecologic malignancies (uterine, ovarian, and cervical cancer), minimally invasive surgical techniques (laparoscopic and robotic surgery), treatment of cervical dysplasia, and the management of complex non-malignant gynecological conditions.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Cohen is a founding member of the Ovarian Cancer Translational Research Program, a multicenter consortium launched at The Icahn School of Medicine. Her research has been nationally recognized and she has several recent publications in peer-reviewed journals.
In her professional community, Dr. Cohen is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
