About Me
Samantha Pochert, MD, is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist and an Assistant Professor in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is an attending physician on the Labor and Delivery Unit at The Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Pochert earned her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Michigan State University/Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident and was honored with the Resident Teaching Award, the Resident of the Month Award, and the Urogynecology and Female Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Award.
Dr. Pochert has been published in the American Journal of Neuroradiology and has presented her research at Michigan State University’s Morbidity and Mortality Conferences and in other professional forums. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
