About Me
Sarah Levy is a clinical neuropsychologist and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at Mount Sinai. Dr. Levy specializes in conducting neuropsychological evaluations for adults with neurological disorders, with a focus on those with neurological autoimmune disorders (e.g., multiple sclerosis) and neurodegenerative disease (e.g., Alzheimer's disease). Her goal is to provide patients with insights into their cognitive strengths and weaknesses, enabling them to optimize their daily functioning. Furthermore, these evaluations play a pivotal role in diagnosing conditions and formulating treatment plans. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Levy is actively engaged in research. Her focus lies in investigating structural MRI patterns of MS-related brain atrophy to deepen our understanding of disease progression and clinical disability. Additional research investigates Alzheimer's biomarkers in older adults with MS to better understand the co-occurrence of MS and Alzheimer's disease.
