About Me
Dr. Sarah Philips, MD, FACOG (she/her) is a native New Yorker. She is proud to provide comprehensive women’s healthcare, with particular interest in preventative care, family planning and contraception, and menopause.
After graduating from Tufts University with honors, Dr. Philips earned her medical degree from the NYU School of Medicine. She was recognized for the Hilda Lipton Memorial Award for the student who embodies the Oath of Maimonides providing compassionate care. Dr. Philips completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where she was the recipient of awards recognizing both her surgical skills and academic achievement. Prior to joining the Friedman Health Center she worked in private practice in New York City providing obstetric and gynecologic care.
Dr. Philips encourages patients to be active participants in their care and feels that one of the most rewarding aspects of OBGYN is building long-term relationships with her patients. In her free time, Dr. Philips enjoys yoga, cooking, baking, exploring the city, and spending time with her family.
