Sehba Husain-Krautter, MD

Dr. Sehba Husain-Krautter is a board-certified general and geriatric psychiatrist with a diverse educational background. She completed her medical education at Karnatak University in India, followed by a residency at the Delaware Psychiatric Center. Dr. Husain-Krautter further specialized by completing a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. In addition to her clinical expertise, she holds a PhD in molecular biology from the Feinstein Institute for Molecular Biology, and as a researcher, is interested in knowing more about the role of the immune system in psychiatric illnesses. As a member of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry (AAGP), and the Group for the Advancement for Psychiatry (GAP), Dr. Husain-Krautter has published on a wide range of topics in her field and continues to play an active role in these organizations.
