Dr. Sarah Bibi Soleh joined CRSSNY in 2019 as a skilled colon and rectal surgeon. Dr. Soleh completed both her medical degree and first General Surgery residency in Pakistan at Fatima Jinnah Medical College and Aga Khan University Hospital, respectively. She then came to New York for a second General Surgery residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital. Upon completing her trainings in General Surgery, Dr. Soleh entered into her fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at the University of Illinois. Afterwards, to finish off her training, Dr. Soleh completed her final fellowship in Colon & Rectal Surgery at Michigan State University. With her board certifications by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery, Dr. Soleh specializes in using advanced technologies like robotic surgery to treat colorectal conditions.
Dr. Soleh holds active roles in international professional organizations, including being a Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan, and a member of The Royal College of Surgeons, England. Additionally, during her years in practice, Dr. Soleh has authored over 25 publications both in general surgery and colon & rectal surgery.
Dr. Soleh credits her technology-oriented focus with leading her to become a surgeon.
