Shai Shinhar is an experienced pediatric ear, nose, and throat doctor serving his patients in New York City. Dr. Shinhar is originally from Israel, and he is fluent in Hebrew and English. He is a member of the Israeli Medical Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, the Israeli Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and the Israel Medical Association Scientific Council Specialty in Ear, Nose, Throat, and Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Shinhar is currently practicing as an associate adjunct surgeon in the otolaryngology department of the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Dr. Shinhar earned his medical education at the Sackler School of Medicine. He completed his internship at the Wolfson Medical Center and his general surgery residency at the Rabin Medical Center. Dr. Shinhar then focused on his interest in otolaryngology and completed his head and neck and otolaryngology residency at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. He completed his pediatric otolaryngology fellowship with the Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Dr. Shinhar sees pediatric patients from birth to 18 years of age. His clinical interests are with tonsils and adenoids, ear disease and hearing loss, cochlear implants, congenital abnormalities, sleep apnea, airway disease and abnormalities, sinus disease and head and neck masses or tumors.
