About Me
Dr. Shameeke Taylor is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine. He practices Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Morningside and West hospitals. His research interests include trauma education, management and outcomes especially as it pertains to the elderly.
Dr. Taylor’s research concerns the evaluation of risk factors that are associated with poor outcomes after traumatic brain injury. After completion of his dual fellowships in Global Health and Research, he was awarded a position as a Sinai Laureate and receives support for his research through this program. He also collaborates with the Institute for Health Equity Research to investigate the intersection of disability and race in health care.
