About Me
After graduating from Stanford University with a degree in Human Biology, Dr. Meehan attended Dartmouth Medical School and spent a year at University of California, San Francisco where he discovered his passion for dermatopathology. He was a resident in anatomic pathology at Stanford University School of Medicine where he served as chief and went on to complete his surgical pathology fellowship at Stanford followed by a dermatopathology fellowship at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. At NYU, Dr. Meehan rose through the ranks to become Director of Dermatopathology and Dermatopathology Fellowship Director.
Dr. Meehan is excited to bring his 20+ years of experience and his superb skillset, to deliver customer-oriented service that meets the highest standards, to the Dermatopathology Services Lab at Mount Sinai.
