
About Me
Dr. Shannon E. Pringle, MD (she/her/hers) is a board certified family medicine physician who is passionate about comprehensive, patient-centered primary health care for people of all ages. She considers herself to be a doctor for the people and tries her best to help patients with whatever they need.
Dr. Pringle believes that the doctor-patient relationship is an equal partnership that begins with listening to the patient. She feels that the partnership works best when the patient’s wants, needs, culture, understanding, and life experiences are considered and implemented in treatment plans.
Dr. Pringle graduated from Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the Institute for Family Health Harlem Residency in Family Medicine and Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, supporting the WNBA and all women’s sports, collecting sneakers, and watching television and movies.

Patient Experience Star Ratings and Comments
The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
