Shereene Z Idriss, MD

A leading expert in the field of state-of-the-art cosmetic procedures, Dr. Shereene Idriss specializes in facial aesthetics and rejuvenation, as well as minimally invasive body tightening. Her unique, four-dimensional approach – a pioneering practice in cosmetic dermatology – addresses the major issues associated with aging: volume displacement (i.e. sagging), skin discoloration, loss of inherent elasticity (quality of your skin) and textural changes (including wrinkles). Also unique to Dr. Idriss’s approach is her emphasis on understanding the needs of her patients beyond the physical. Learning about her clients’ perceptions of themselves – how they feel inside and out – allows her to better understand where they are coming from, what they truly want and what kinds of procedures will work best for them. By combining this solid doctor-patient connection with her medical knowledge, vast experience with lasers, and artistic skills, Dr. Idriss is able to provide exceptional results and unrivaled patient care. After graduating magna cum laude from the prestigious seven-year Medical Honors Program at The George Washington University, Dr. Idriss completed a research fellowship focusing on psoriatic treatment efficacy at Harvard University and finalized her dermatology training at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. She has also published award-winning papers on the evolution of dermatology in the digital age. Dr. Idriss has been a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Dermatology at NYU Medical Center, and is currently a Clinical Instructor at the Dermatology Department of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. In addition to her board-certification in dermatology, Dr. Idriss is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, The Dermatologic Society of Greater New York, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
