About Me
Shivani Shah, MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the division of Ambulatory Pediatrics, Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine and the Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. She also serves as Associate Director of Quality. Dr. Shah is a board-certified General Pediatrician with over 10 years of clinical experience, providing comprehensive care to children from infancy through late adolescence.
Dr. Shah's clinical expertise includes preventive pediatrics, developmental and depression screening, anticipatory guidance, and the evaluation and management of common acute pediatric illnesses. Her practice provides a full range of preventive services, including annual well-child visits, sports physicals, and camp physicals, with an emphasis on early identification of developmental, behavioral, and mental health concerns.
As an educator, Dr. Shah is actively involved in the teaching and mentorship of medical students and trainees, emphasizing evidence-based, family-centered pediatric care. In their leadership role as Associate Director of Quality, Dr. Shah is engaged in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety, care coordination, and clinical outcomes.
