About Me
Dr. Braman is currently a Professor of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Division at the Icahn School of Medicine.
Dr. Braman received his medical degree from Temple University and completed his residency at Philadelphia General Hospital. He completed his Pulmonary Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Dr. Braman has long standing expertise in managing diseases of the airways such as asthma and COPD. He is involved in research and clinical trials that will bring advances in clinical care to patients suffering from these conditions and has participated in developing and disseminating national guidelines for those diseases. One of his additional academic interests is in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic cough. He is a member of the Guidelines Oversight Committee for the American College of Physicians evidence-based guidelines and consensus statements on Cough.
