About Me
Simrta Ahuja, DO, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist at The Mount Sinai Hospital in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Her clinical focus includes comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum management.
Prior to joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Ahuja served at UT Physicians Women’s Center – Memorial City in Houston, where she provided obstetric and gynecologic care for a diverse patient population in both outpatient and hospital settings. Dr. Ahuja earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and her Bachelor of Science in Community Health, Healthcare Administration and Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at HCA Houston Healthcare West and UTHealth Houston. During her training, she was also awarded for excellence in laparoscopic surgery.
