About Me

Sonali Bose, MD MPH received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai, serving as Chief Resident. She completed her Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she stayed on as Assistant Professor of Medicine to establish a career development research program centered on air quality and environmental exposures that affect asthma. Her focus is on public health research and clinical trials aimed at improving asthma outcomes for both children and adults. One of her additional academic interests is the effect of early life exposures on airway development and respiratory health. She is involved with the American Lung Association Airways Clinical Research Centers (ACRC) Network and is a member of the Scientific Awards and Presentations Committee for the American College of Chest Physicians. She recently joined the Respiratory Institute where she will care for asthma patients and continue her clinical research program under the mentorship of Dr. Rosalind Wright.

Patient Experience Star Ratings and Comments

The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
