Dr. Soo Yeon Kim serves as the Director of Pain Medicine and Interventional Spine within the Department of Rehabilitation and Human Performance at the prestigious Icahn School of Medicine, part of Mount Sinai Health System.

With extensive experience in comprehensive pain management, Dr. Kim specializes in a broad spectrum of painful conditions, including spine-related pain, post-laminectomy syndrome, vertebral compression fractures, neuropathic pain, degenerative joint disease, and other musculoskeletal-related pain disorders. Her expertise extends to advanced neuromodulation and minimally invasive techniques, which she adeptly employs to address various chronic pain conditions. Dr. Kim's skill set encompasses diagnostic and therapeutic spinal injections, discography, kyphoplasty, MILD (Mininally Invasive Lumbar Decompression) cryotherapy, neuromodulations (including spinal cord, dorsal root ganglion and peripheral nerve stimulators), orthobiologic injections, and pulsed and thermal radiofrequency neurolysis.
