Stella Chin, MD

About Me
Dr. Stella Chin joined Mount Sinai in 2026 as a board-certified Neurologist with a special interest in epilepsy, seizure disorders, and headaches. After completing her undergraduate studies with The Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College, Dr. Chin earned her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University. She subsequently completed both her residency in Neurology and fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Stony Brook University Hospital. Dr. Chin is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
In her professional community, Dr. Chin is a member of the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society and the American Academy of Neurology. Additionally, her work has been published in the Journal of Clinical Neurophysiology and she has presented at multiple conferences, including the American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting in Denver.
Outside of her time with patients, Dr. Chin enjoys exploring new parks and going on long walks with her dogs.
Dr. Chin is multilingual and can communicate with patients in English, conversational Burmese, and conversational Spanish.
