About Me
Suparna Patcha, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. She works on the pediatrics team at Mount Sinai Doctors – East 85th Street.
Dr. Patcha attended medical school at Banaras Hindu University in India and then completed her pediatric residency at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Dr. Patcha has over 20 years of experience working in private practice in New Jersey in a diverse pediatric practice that served a multicultural and underserved population. Before coming to Mount Sinai, she was working as a pediatrician at Apple Pediatrics in Manhattan and an assistant attending physician at Weill Cornell Medicine/NewYork-Presbyterian Pediatrics. She is passionate about teaching students and patients.
Dr. Patcha’s clinical areas of interest are nutrition and child behavior and development.

The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
Dr. Patcha took the time to review my daughter's progress, review additional things to continue it, and brought another issue that I had forgotten. This was not only helpful but also it was reassuring to see her doctor is on top of things.
Dr Patcha is such a Rockstar. She was so helpful efficient, explained everything she was doing in the exam very clearly for both patent and child and she got is the medication we needed right away. We normally see [...] who we also love so much! We love both of these doctors sooo much!!! Knowledge friendly thorough compassionate... Basically everything you could want in providers.
Dr. Patcha was fabulous. She showed concern and was thoughtful about her diagnosis, even bringing in another doctor for a second opinion. She clearly explained her recommendations and the treatment plan, and followed up with phone calls when she needed to make a change to the plan.
