She is also an active advocate for patients' rights, having recently completed a 5-year term as a member of the Mount Sinai Institutional Review Board
In addition to acne, Dr. Bershad treats all pediatric and adolescent skin conditions, including vascular and pigmented birthmarks, atopic dermatitis and other skin rashes, benign growths, and the cutaneous manifestations of childhood diseases.
