About Me

My research focuses on novel quantitative electroencephalography (qEEG) measures capable of tracking global brain state changes that reflect inherent underlying neurological processes related to neuropsychiatric disorders. This will ultimately help physicians better treat their patients and lead to a better understanding of how underlying brain networks are disrupted in disease states.

My previous studies with Dr. Nicholas Schiff focused on developing novel quantitative time series analysis of the human electroencephalogram to study the recovery of language production in patients recovering from severe traumatic brain injury.

Currently, I am working with Dr. Helen Mayberg using qEEG to better understand the underlying physiological changes occuring during the recovery from treatment-resistant depression in patients with sub-callosal deep brain stimulation.
