About Me

Theresa Mack, MD, MPH, is a primary care physician and Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine. She is also a dedicated teacher and a faculty member of the Art and Science of Medicine course, as well as the East Harlem Health Outreach Partnership, (EHHOP), at the Icahn School of Medicine. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, and HIV Medicine.

Currently, she is the Medical Director of the Mount Sinai Doctors Faculty Practice at 147th St and 8th Avenue in Harlem. Prior to that, she was the Associate Medical Director of the St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center for Comprehensive Care for seven years.

Having trained in New York City, Dr. Mack is deeply rooted in the Harlem community; she is a relentless advocate for the underserved, providing quality care to patients who may not have access to medical care.  She has worked tirelessly and with great sensitivity, care and professionalism to ensure that Harlem residents receive quality medical attention.

Dr. Mack has given lectures nationally to consumer and physician audiences. She was featured by the New York Daily News as “Dr. Angel” in 2011. She is on the Board of Directors of Iris House and has been a vital member of a multitude of professional societies throughout her career.
