About Me
Having trained at Mount Sinai Hospital and invited to stay on as an attending surgeon, Dr. Sterry has been offering personalized care in a boutique style practice since 2001. While very proud of his reconstructive skills, he now concentrates on providing meticulous cosmetic surgery to New York City’s most discerning patients. Dr. Sterry is a member of several professional societies including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The American College of Surgeons, The New York State Society of Medical Specialties, and The New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is licensed in both New York State and New Jersey.
Other surgeons recognize his expertise and have asked Dr. Sterry to author two separate textbook chapters about body contouring procedures. Furthermore, he has been featured in many media outlets including Social Life Magazine, the New York Daily News, The Star, and In Touch Magazine.
Dr. Sterry continues to enjoy teaching our next generation of surgeons and has been awarded by his surgical residents for his dedication to that end in 2006, 2012, and again in 2014. His philanthropic work has included medical missions todeveloping countries including Honduras and India.
