Dr. Thomas T. Nguyen attended Rutgers -Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. He completed the combined Emergency Medicine/Internal Medicine residency at Beth Israel Medical Center (Albert Einstein College of Medicine) in NY in 2000. Dr. Nguyen is currently an Associate Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, an Emergency Medicine Attending at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and is the Simulation Director for the department. From 2009-2019, Dr. Nguyen was the Associate Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at the Beth Israel Medical Center in NY. His current interests include residency education, simulation, patient safety and administration. Dr. Nguyen has authored numerous book chapters and per reviewed articles on a variety of topics. He is currently a board member of the All NYC Emergency Medicine Conference Group. Dr. Nguyen is also fluent in Vietnamese.
