About Me
Dr. Timothy (Tim) Friedmann is an Instructor of Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine, as well as a Medical Education Fellow in the Department of Emergency Medicine. As part of his fellowship, he serves on the leadership team for the Residency in Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. His interests within medical education include curriculum development, mentoring, feedback, and procedural teaching in airway management. Additionally, he is interested in palliative care in the emergency department.
Dr. Friedmann graduated from Binghamton University with a B.S. in Cell & Molecular Biology. He attended medical school at Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. He completed his residency training at the Mount Sinai Hospital/Elmhurst Residency Program in 2023.
