About Me
Dr. Tommy Wong graduated from Yale University in 1989 and New York Medical College in 1993. He trained in Emergency Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center, affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After completing his residency in 1997, Dr. Wong joined the emergency medicine faculty at St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital Center, and has been part of the department for the last eighteen years. Dr. Wong’s interest lies in resident education and mentoring and the clinical medicine. He has served as Assistant / Associate Program Director for the last fifteen years and will be stepping down in July. He will remain a full time clinical faculty and educator. He has won several awards for excellence in medical student and resident education. Most recently, Emergency Medicine Resident Association will honor Dr. Wong with the National APD of the Year Award at Society of Academic Emergency Medicine conference in May 2015.
