About Me
Toni Stern, MD, is the Mount Sinai Health System Vice Chair for Quality, Clinical Transformation and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. She also serves as the Chief Patient Experience Officer in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at Mount Sinai. In her role, Dr. Stern has established a data-driven approach that fosters a high reliability infrastructure based on the integration of quality, equity and experience, with the aim of optimizing quality and identifying and addressing disparities. Dr. Stern has extensive experience as a quality and process improvement leader. She is an Associate Professor and the Senior Associate Dean for Career Advancement and Support in Clinical Affairs at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Stern is board-certified in obstetrics, gynecology and health care quality and management. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians, and the New York Academy of Medicine.
