About Me
Dr. Umaima Dhamrah is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology at Mount Sinai and Elmhurst Hospital Center. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Elmhurst Hospital Center and Rheumatology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Dhamrah is actively involved in medical education, serving as a small group facilitator and instructor for arthrocentesis simulation training. She is also a faculty mentor for the research consortium at Elmhurst Hospital. Throughout her training, she has been involved in research focusing on systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and spondyloarthritis. Dr. Dhamrah's clinical interests include managing rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis, crystal-induced arthritis, SLE, myositis, and vasculitis.
