Vanessa Tiongson,MD is a board-certified neurologist and assistant professor at Mount Sinai Hospital. She practices general neurology but specializes in peripheral nerve, neuromuscular junction, and muscle disorders. She completed her neuromuscular medicine and EMG training at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Tiongson did her neurology residency at NYU and obtained her medical degree at SUNY Downstate. She is trained to address a variety of neurological disorders including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, peripheral neuropathy, nerve disorders, muscle disorders, myasthenia gravis, headache, epilepsy, movement disorders, vascular disease, and multiple sclerosis. Dr. Tiongson is on the professional practice committee of the AANEM.
