Vathani Packianathan, MD

Vathani Packianathan, M.D. is a board-certified Allergy and Immunology specialist at Mount Sinai Doctors. She sees adult patients Monday - Friday at West Park Medical Group. She is dual-certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. She received her medical degree from University at Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University at Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and went on to complete her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University at Buffalo. During her fellowship, she did research in both asthma and the treatment of immunodeficiency. As a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, she has presented her research at regional and national conferences. Prior to joining Mount Sinai Doctors, she worked in private practice in her hometown of Buffalo, NY. Some of the conditions she evaluates and treats include allergic rhinitis, anaphylaxis, angioedema, asthma, drug allergies, eczema, food allergies, hives, and sinusitis.
