Dr Sinh has extensive experience in working with Personality Disorders and is an expert in the treatment of emotion dysregulation problems, relationship problems, identity struggles, life adjustment and transitions, and issues pertaining to gender, sexuality and trauma.
Her treatment approach draws largely from Dialectal Behavior Therapy, insight oriented psychotherapies, and mindfulness and cognitive and behavioral based models.
Dr. Sinh obtained her Ph.D in Clinical Psychology at Teachers College Columbia University. Her doctoral research and related publications have focused on depression in adolescents. Her previous clinical experience includes work at the New York State Psychiatric Institute, North Central Bronx Hospital and the Zucker Hillside Hospital at LIJ.
