Walter Choi, M.D. is the Director of Stereotactic Radiosurgery in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Continuum Cancer Centers of New York. He joined the department in 2007 after completing a fellowship in stereotactic radiosurgery and brachytherapy at Mount Sinai St. Luke's Roosevelt and Montefiore Medical Center. His areas of interest include stereotactic radiosurgery for intracranial tumors and functional stereotactic radiosurgery including trigeminal neuralgia; stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy for the treatment of oligometastatic disease; cancers of the lung and gastrointestinal system, and ocular melanoma. Dr. Choi is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology, the American College of Radiology the American Brachytherapy Society, the Radiologic Society of North America.
