Dr. Xequiel Hernandez began practicing Internal Medicine in 2012. After completing his undergraduate studies at Seton Hall University, Dr. Hernandez graduated with his doctorate degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He then moved to Hunterdon Medical Center for his residency in Family Medicine. Dr. Hernandez is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and can speak medical Spanish with his patients.
Dr. Hernandez is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and GLMA, an organization of health professionals dedicated to advancing LGBTQ equality. He also holds leadership roles on several committees, including most recently the Medical Marijuana Task Force and an Addiction Committee.
