Dr. Xingnan Li, currently is a Research Faculty focusing on genetics, biomarkers, and endotypes of respiratory diseases.
• Dr. Li is working on genetic analyses of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and asthma-COPD overlap in the All of Us Research Program (AoURP). Dr. Li is working on asthma endotype analyses in the AssessmenT of smalL Airways involvemeNT In aSthma (ATLANTIS) study,
• Dr. Li has worked at the Center for Genomics and Personalized Medicine Research at the Wake Forest University, Winton-Salem, NC for 10 years (2006-2016). Dr. Li has worked at the Division of Genetics, Genomics and Precision Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Tucson, AZ for 8 years (2017-2024).
• Dr. Li published dozens of manuscripts on genetics of respiratory diseases in J Allergy Clin Immunol, Allergy, and Nat Genet. Dr. Li published dozens of manuscripts on biomarkers and endotypes of respiratory diseases in Am J Respir Crit Care Med, J Allergy Clin Immunol Pract, and Lancet Respir Med.
• Dr. Li earned his B.S. of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Peking University, Beijing, China. Dr. Li earned his Ph.D. of Genetics and M.S. of Statistics at the Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI.
• Dr. Li is involved at the state and national level, serving as an Editorial Board Member of BMC Medical Genomics and a Reviewer Board Member of J Allergy Clin Immunol.
